You may have already seen these, but I wanted to put these pictures here just in case you hadn't. Models Own has just released their brand new Mirrorball collection and it looks awesome. Each Mirrorball polish is a combination of multiple colors, shapes and sizes of glitter and it's supposed to have a "glide-on" formula, so I'm hoping they're not thick and chunky like other similar glitters.
Mirrorball is Models Own first ever collection of nail frostings - a range of glide-on glitters that will revitalise your entire polish collection. Wear alone or over your favourite colour polish to give a frosting finish, taking nails from boring to BLING!
Each polish contains five different chunky colours of hand-cut glitter that are guaranteed to get the party started.
Disco Inferno, a glittery gold disco bomb;
Hot Stuff, an intoxicating mix of pink and gold sparkles (large image coming soon);
Freak Out, a crystal shimmer mix of bold blue and purple;
Dancing Queen, fabulous flecks of emerald, blue and gold;
Boogie Nights, a multicoloured mix of intriguing purple, pink and blue.
Wear separately or layer over a colour polish, match with sequin shoes and ‘Play That Funky Music’ a lá Wild Cherry.
Launching in Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Boots stores nationwide, The Bottleshop at Westfield London and online at www.modelsownit.com Price: £5.00 each
Also, I can't hear someone say "mirrorball" without thinking of this:
Look at them shine!

ReplyDeleteWow, they all look fantastic, but Dancing Queen is definitely a must-have!
ReplyDeleteHand-cut glitters...I'm imagining hundreds of elves with scissors and shiny paper on a factory floor that looks a lot like Mr. Salt's nut-shelling/candy-unwrapping facility from Charlie & The Chocolate Factory.

ReplyDeleteI cannot do many more glitters. But know how many folks cannot get enough of 'em...so call me in the minority on this one. Won't be getting any of these. So would have liked to have seen something far more complex from MO for holiday.
