Take a look at these cute little upcoming sets from Benefit! Just in time for back-to-school shopping, Benefit is releasing six new Sephora-exclusive mini makeup lessons. Three complexion kits and three lip and cheek kits featuring generous travel sizes of Benefit's signature complexion enhancing products, all with illustrated tips and tricks for instant beauty.

Benefit How To Look The Best At Everything Flawless Complexion Makeup Kit

Benefit Go Tropicoral Turn Up The Heat Lip and Cheek Kit

  • New Ultra Plush Lip Gloss in Coralista
  • Blush Brush
  • Tips and Tricks Booklet

There's also a third lip and cheek kit called Feelin' Dandy that will contain a Dandelion-themed range of products:

  • Posietint Poppy Pink Lip and Cheek Stain
  • High Beam Luminescent Complexion Enhancer
  • Dandelion Brightening Face Powder
  • Ultra Plush Lip Gloss in Dandelion

The construction and design of the palettes is really nice. They're all very sturdy, not too big, and decorated beautifully inside and out. Even the inside of the cardboard outer box is decorated! Each palette can also be re-used once you remove the makeup since the products are nestled into a removable inner tray.

The only new item in these kits is the Ultra Plush lipgloss, which I'll be reviewing shortly. Otherwise, you can browse previous reviews of the individual products here:

I think these sets are extremely pretty to look at, but more importantly, they're a very inexpensive way to try out a lot of different Benefit products at once. The lip and cheek kits are only $28, and the complexion kits are only slightly more expensive at $30. The travel sized products in these kits are not skimpy or tiny and they will last you a good long while.

The Benefit Tips and Tricks Instant Beauty kits are a Sephora exclusive and will be available in-store and online starting in August.

    1. I think they're very well put together, especially for daily use! Everything all in one spot and no extra junk :)

  2. So the powders aren't stuck permanently in the larger box, while everything else can be taken out? I'm not a huge fan of box set that have a bunch of mini products that can be removed, except for the powder shadows &/or blushes, so if this is not like that, I might have to indulge.

    1. Nope, seems like they fixed that this time! Everything is on one removable tray. The little minis are held in thin cardboard 'wings' and the powder/brush section in the middle is its own sturdier cardboard tray. The wings are glued to the underside of the blush tray, but are easily removed. Looks like they knew people would want to remove the blush and gave it its own tray. No lid for it, but it's an improvement.

  3. I wish I liked BeneFit more. I'm a native of Dallas, and am always tempted by their Dallas collection for that reason.

    1. The new Dallas gloss is worth a look if your Sephora carries it. It's a nude with some brown in it, and normally I'm terrified of any brown on my lips (flashbacks of bad 90s lipstick), but it's surprisingly flattering. Nice texture, too.

    2. Strong, sweet, fruity, a tiny bit floral. Really similar to the scent of the original glosses, but a little cleaner/fresher.

    3. Interesting! I may have to check it out after all, thank you.

  4. these are REALLY cute! i wish i didn't already have dandelion, cha cha tint, and sugarbomb, or i'd be grabbing those sets.

i would have loved a dallas or hula or bella bamba set (yep, the three powders i don't have).

i wish they'd make a lipgloss sampler! their powders are my favorite products, and all of the gloss colors look so plush and pretty... really looking forward to your review of those. :D

    1. I'm surprised they didn't do a Dallas set at least. Or Bella Bamba with a little tube of Moon Beam or Sun Beam instead of the High Beam. I like Moon Beam better but it seems like they're starting to phase it out :(

But the glosses are nice. Great texture. Hopefully they'll do a gloss set for holiday with the new formula!

    2. A sampler featuring all of the powders and corresponding glosses would be nice. Or at least a Dallas lip and cheek it.

    1. That Concealaholic kit is one of their best kits, it seems like it has everything. I would have bought it if I didn't already buy almost every item individually, lol. I still kinda want it, it's so portable and cute. I love Erase Paste and That Gal!

    2. oh see, this is great reading this!!! i like that you spoke of the others ones you liked! :D

makes me wish you would do a top 10 list... like of concealers, powders, foundations, colors of polishes and what not. that would be really cool!

also... i'm so jones-ing to get dandelion box powder. i think, that since, i'm really fair that it would look the best on me. since you're fair as well did you like that one? and does the gloss seem as sheer as it looks like it would be? i guess i'll have to wait to read your reviews of those since you say it's coming up! ;)

LOVE your blog btw! it's amazing, and my fav is how detailed you get on the products! can't believe it took me so long to find it! been loyally looking everyday for a few weeks now.

also, is there anyway you can set up a subscribe through email thing? i dont use rss feeds.

  7. Oh man! How To Look The Best At Everything seems right up my alley; I've been meaning to try the Oxygen Wow foundation and the Hello Flawless Powder.

    1. I've never used the powder before either, I might have to pick this up in my shade so I can try it!

  8. All of them are so cute!! I recently got into Benefit and I am after Cha Cha Tint! I might have to wait for this set!

    1. Good idea, the whole set is about the price of just one bottle of Cha Cha Tint alone!

  9. Ahhh that last set (Go Tropicoral) would've been perfect if it had Sun Beam instead of High Beam (for the greedy ones like myself who want Go Tropical AND Sugarlicious haha)

    ReplyDelete

    1. Haha, I agree with you! It seems like they really push High Beam, but I think Moon Beam is prettier and easier to use, personally. I haven't tried Sun Beam yet but it sounds like it'll be awesome!

  10. I like the looks of these kits a lot. Other than Boing, I never have gone through an entire Benefit product ever. I have found their smaller (like these) eye shadow collection are great for travel. The cardboard package never breaks.

    1. They really do have the sturdiest, most resilient cardboard palettes. They're so nice that I don't even mind them being cardboard.

  11. The foundation selection for the light box seems a little wacko! I'm worried the lightest will be too dark for me and they go with the 3rd shade?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I agree, I'm not even super light but Ivory is almost too dark for me. If anything they should have gone with Petal to be right in the middle.

  12. Really cute packaging! Oh, I wish I could wear more Benefit products. Seems like most of their line contains an ingredient I have a cosmetic allergy to. Boo!

  13. Sugarlicious is the one that appeals to me the most. But I really want to try the Dallas lip gloss.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Go tropi coral looks absolutely gorgeous I think that's the most appealing to me!

  15. when is sephora and benefit releasing the products so you can buy them? i'm soo excited for the foundation set!

  16. Going to have to get a face kit in light and Feelin Dandy! It's so pretty. Thanks for the review and pictures!
