The front is sealed with a safety seal and the back includes a small diagram on how to use the shadows.
The clear plastic lid flips open to reveal the three shadows, miniature plastic-bristled eyeshadow brush and miniature sponge-tip shadow applicator.
Swatched without primer, natural light and flash. Browbone, which is a light ivory shimmer, Crease, which is a light bronzed brown shimmer, and Eyelid, which is a light neutral peach-pink shimmer.
Here's a look I did using the shadows as directed on the packaging: Eyelid on the lid, Crease in the crease and Browbone on the browbone.
What I liked:
- Super cheap! I paid $2.99 for this.
- Easy to find, available at drugstores.
- Great formula on the shadows. Smooth, silky, pigmented, easy to blend, long-wearing (over a primer).
- The neutral shades in this trio aren't too warm for my skin tone.
- Using the shadows as suggested results in the easiest, nearly no-effort-required, basically foolproof 2-minute neutral eye. You barely even need to blend it. Perfect for when I'm running late or just don't have the patience to do anything more complicated.
- The crease shade could be a little darker.
- The plastic brush is useless.
I love the WnW palette's too! Consider this bought! Love love.
ReplyDeleteNot going to lie, I kind of love the lid shade. I probably have something like it, but I still need this one
ReplyDeleteI have this one and love it. WnW's palettes have such good pigmentation; they've spoiled me for other brands.
ReplyDeleteI've been using this one a lot. Definitely a favorite. Rite Aid and CVS regularly have 40% off sales for the entire Wet N Wild line, so I think I have most of their 3 color eye shadow palettes.
ReplyDeleteOooh so pretty! Why can't we get Wet n Wild easily in the UK? Why, why, why? Sob. It looks so easy to wear! x
ReplyDeleteLooks great and I have this one too! ^_^
ReplyDeleteI have also been super impressed by a lot of their recent stuff! I use the comfort zone one almost every day! What black eyeliner are you using here, btw?
ReplyDeleteCheck out what you can get on amazon.co.uk! :D
ReplyDeleteThis one is one of my favorites of the little trios they do. I think my all time favorite is Silent Treatment though. As per usual, I love how you did your makeup! :D
ReplyDeleteI love this one. I got it quite a while ago and I use it constantly. Wet N' Wild has to be one of my favorite eyeshadow brands now. The price is great and the color pay off is just as good if not better than some high end brands.
ReplyDeleteThis trio is my go-to product for rushed or lazy mornings. It's so lovely and easy! (Can't beat the price, either!)
ReplyDeleteI've already gone through 2 of these!!
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite Wet and Wild palette!! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI have this too and I use it all the time, I love the eyelid color! It's a great dupe for Stila Kitten eyeshadow.
ReplyDeleteThe Wet n Wild Color Icon shadows are my favorite! I was excited to see your review post today. I have every one. They are well pigmented and easy to work with. I get a lot of compliments on these shadows. It wears like a high end brand. The Natural Blend lip shimmers are really good also. (I have all of those too)
ReplyDeleteI have this and the browbone shade is my go-to highlighter! I've worn these colors together and separately--the eyelid shade is one I reach for when I wear my simplest look: I simply sweep this across my lid and into the crease and use a navy eyeshadow as a liner (I have light blue eyes, so the navy makes them pop). Done and done and I always receive compliments!
ReplyDeleteEverytime I use this palette I get tons of compliments. I used this palette on my bridesmaids, mom, Aunt, and myself for my wedding last summer. It photographed beautifully. It's my go-to for summer looks. LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteAnd the lightest shade is my favorite face highlighter. <3
I love Wet n Wild! I use their Comfort Zone palette almost every day :) This one is great too.
ReplyDeleteI love this little WnW palette too. In a rush? This is the go to eyeshadow trio for me. Plus I love how freaking easy it is to blend!
ReplyDeletewow your eyes look amazing! You do an absolutely flawless eye liner line, you should do a tutorial!
ReplyDeletegreat colours I would buy if they sold that brand here lol :)
Thanks for the review of this palette! I always eye it when I walk by the display, but have never picked it up. You just convinced me.
ReplyDeleteThe Comfort Zone palette is also love!
Wow the neutrals look great on you too! I have the comfort zone and silent treatment pallets and I love them. I will definitely be picking this one up. Love that peachy shade on the lid!
ReplyDeleteLove this trio, use it daily and have a backup! I also like the "sweet as candy" trio similar but with a pink lid color, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with the Wet n Wild Color Icon eyeshadows. I recently got two trios, Silent Treatment and Cool As A Cucumber, and I love them! I'll definitely look for Walking on Eggshells too!
ReplyDeleteI got this for a dollar at Big Lots and I use it more than my Nars Best palette. I will definitely be rebuying this one, because when I bother to wear eye makeup it's usually this with black liquid liner.
ReplyDeleteIf you're looking for a great deal, this week at Rite Aid they have all WnW stuff buy one get one 50% off, with a $2 up reward after you buy $5 worth of stuff. I <3 Wet n Wild!
ReplyDeleteI first started using them when you wrote about them, so thanks for that!!! :)
Totally am with you on Comfort Zone, one of my favorite palettes! This looks to be a re-promote of a WnW palette called "Belgian Chocolates", before they revamped their packaging. This one is so easy and fool-proof to use!
ReplyDeleteI use this trio almost every day!
ReplyDeleteVery impressed with this trio!! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteLove!!
