I've been wanting to try these, some of these prints might just make me take the plunge.
ReplyDeleteShe uses Vaaaaaaaaseline.... (totally stuck in my head now)
DeleteThese prints are pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteI thought so!
DeleteThey are nice but why 18 stripes? It's a little bit weird:)
ReplyDeleteNot weird, convenient! :) They come in two sealed packages inside, in a variety of sizes. I think it's only 16, actually, 8 in each sealed pack. Gives you a variety of sizes, and if you have short nails, you can do both hands with only one package, so you get two manicures out of each box :)
DeleteOk, thank you for the explanation :)
DeleteI really want to try these but am hesitant because of the expense. Are they worth it?
ReplyDeleteI think they are. Check out some of my past reviews on them for more detail :) Some designs apply easier than others, but they last a long time and they look really cool. Plus, you can always get them on sale for $6-$8, they always go on clearance at the end of each season, and sometimes there's coupons so you don't have to spend as much :D
DeleteThese strips are amazing. If you spend a lot of money on professional manicures, you should definitely give these a shot. If you own a bunch of konad plates and you are skilled at doing your own nail designs, your money can probably be better spent elsewhere.
DeleteThese strips are amazing, if you can get them on sale definitely pick some up! Especially if you get your nails professionally done, this can save some money and time. If you have a bunch of Konad plates and are good at doing your own design, then you might be better off spending your money elsewhere.
DeleteI was impressed by how long they lasted on my nails. Over two weeks, and I had to remove them due to new growth.
I bought Sticks and Stones as it looks like Eddie Van Halen's guitar! I love these strips. And I also have on a set of the new OPI Nail Apps right now. They are equally awesome. Nail polish stips are my current favorite thing to wear lately. I love all the great patterns!
ReplyDeleteIf you think they're too expensive for a single manicure, you could stretch a box by just using them for accent nails. That's what I do. For some reason I balk at paying
ReplyDelete$8 for these, but not so much for a bottle of polish. Lol
I just saw these a few hours ago at Target! But I didn't realize they were connected to the movie, just noticed they had some new patters. I like the pink with stars!
ReplyDeleteI love the zipper ones! I've wanted to do a similar effect with the Konad plate that has the zipper, however, the color difference that would have to be done at the correct angle for the zipper pattern to fit over is just too mind-blowing for me to actually try, you know? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOoh, some of these are really neat! I've only used these once, and I liked them alright, but they did not last on my nails as long as they do for some people. They're so much fun for a special occasion, though, I love that these have caught on and that they're releasing new designs seasonally.
ReplyDeleteLove theses strips overall but from this release I only like Rock n' Roar. Also, Im pretty sure at my local walmart all I saw was the guitar n jean prints and they were mixed in with the permanent line and this was like a month ago :/
ReplyDeleteOh no miss Sally Hansen! I gave these babies a try, not once, not twice, but THREE times and they just did not work for me. It was just putting a sticker on my nail that barely sticked and would just role up and off at the tips. However, I did find something that made them work a little better. Put clear polish on the nail, let the polish get a little tacky then put the strip on your nail then it sticks 10X better. But I gave these nail stickers and others like these to many chances and they have not been up to par. So im going to have to pass, sorry sally! =/
ReplyDeleteGlad you guys like them though..we still have tons of these at walmart, see them everyday when i go to work in cosmetics.
I love the zipper one and the lace one. Just might have to give this nail polish strip thing a try. I normally change my nails every three days.... So I'll use the stripe when traveling so I'm less inclined to remove them. lol
ReplyDeleteI need all of these. I'm obsessed with the Broadway show and so excited for the movie. These are fabulous...now just need to find them in NYC!
ReplyDeleteI'm more than a little but obsessed with the Broadqay show, plus I love the nail strips. (though the formula on the past couple hasn't been as good as they were a year or so ago)...these are a must.
