Misa Persian Carpet

I was scrolling through some of my old, un-posted nail of the day pictures and my eye landed on this. What a gorgeous color. I'm sure I've posted pictures of me wearing this before, but I wore it again recently and just couldn't get over how rich and velvety it looked.


Misa Persian Carpet. This is a red-toned purple with exquisite, ultra-smooth gold/pink shimmer. This may not fall under the category of true duochrome, but I still consider it one because it flashes between lighter, more pink-shimmery purple and darker, less shimmery purple. While it doesn't have that dual-color flash (for example, purple to turquoise) that most duochromes have, it still changes.

Misa really did some amazing colors back in the day. Maybe it'll be my New Year's Resolution to go back and re-swatch my Misa duochromes this year.
