After I posted my Sugarpill review yesterday, I had to try out one more look with them. Royal Sugar Chromalust was calling my name. So glad I got this one.
I had to try a few different types of lighting to get the blue to show up as crazy as it looks in real life. Top photo is with flash and no other lighting, next one is with flash plus fluorescent lighting and bottom is fluorescent only and I think that one made the blue look truest to life.
This was:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance Lemon Drop
MAC Lovely Lily pigment on inner corner
MAC Viz-A-Violet pigment on lid
MAC Push The Edge pigment in crease and on lower lashline
Sugarpill Royal Sugar Chromalust wet as liner
Cover Girl Lash Blast Luxe mascara in Black Royale
Oh man. How awesome is that blue as liner? I was worried that it would be too chalky as those types of bright mattes can be, but it mixed beautifully with my MAC Water Based Mixing Medium and was super pigmented. I'll have to try it dry before I can decide if the formula on it is perfect, but the color is amazing. I'm not so sure if I like the blue liner with the purple shadow, but I definitely like them both individually. Now to figure out what to wear Royal Sugar with next...
Oh wow, the color you used for the liner is amazing! I rather like the blue and purple together, it's unexpected and not too matchy-matchy, but since they're in the same color family it totally works!
ReplyDeleteHoly WOW dude! This is hot. I didn't have much lucky with Royal Sugar as a shadow (it seemed to blend down to meh) but I'm going to try it as a liner! ROCK IT GURL!
ReplyDeleteloving the blue eyeliner!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous! Try it with black, or gold?
ReplyDeleteWow, love the liner! Looks so cool.
ReplyDeleteThis looks beautiful! I actually love the blue and purple together.
ReplyDeleteI actually like the purple and blue together. The blue eyeliner is truely WOWZA!!
ReplyDeleteI really love the way you use bold colours for your eyeliner. It's refreshing, and you've inspired me to stray from basic black about a year ago. :) Adding some colour is so much fun!
