Almost finished with this! Only half a Helmer drawer to go... If you're new and didn't see my first two posts, an explanation: my goal is to swatch (or in some cases, re-swatch) my entire collection of China Glaze polishes. Most of these are old and discontinued and presented in somewhat random order.
You can see part one

ReplyDelete<3 the Vintage, just the plain Vintage.
ReplyDeletei absolutely love Vintage, vintage crepe and sweet revenge
ReplyDeleteI need Tantalize Me, clearly!
ReplyDeleteSweet Revenge is like, WHOA. Need!
ReplyDeleteWow how long did it take you to swatch all those? Pretty! I don't own any of those :(
ReplyDeleteSunset Glow, Sweet Revenge and Tantalize Me is now on my list to get.
ReplyDeleteI love Side Saddle matte!
ReplyDeleteUp All Night!! Wow...never seen that one before. Whyyyy? :/
ReplyDeleteSunset Glow & That Look ♥
ReplyDeleteThanks for doing these swatches - I love drooling over all these China Glaze colours. And I know that was a lot of work for you, I appreciate it, Scrangie. :D
ReplyDelete- Mary
I'd give my soul for Sunset Glow *sigh*
ReplyDeletethis...is the best china glaze collection!!. cant tell you how much trouble u've saved me swatching these..now i'll just tell my friends what to pick up for me (as we don't get them in India yet) thanks ..really appreciate all the effort you put in
ReplyDeleteVery nice colors!! I love China Glaze!!
ReplyDeletei want vintage so badly! its such an awesome color!
ReplyDeleteI'm lusting for many of these! Gorgeous swatches.
ReplyDeleteI have Sunset Glow - bought it on the secondary market because I kept hearing how great it was. So glad you showed us the holo top coat. I have it and it never turns anything holo that I put it over - it just leaves a not so clear topper with a lot of non anything happening glitter to it. I see it works on your nails with no base shade - but what the heck is the big deal about this which folks go crazy over that I am not getting it to do?
ReplyDeleteAw, your pictures are dangerous! I always get the worst lemmings after reading your blog. :)
ReplyDeleteone word~~~That look! *drool*
ReplyDeleteYou really do have some of the best swatches *sigh* I love China Glaze and they're a large part of my collection but I don't even own any of these (in any of the three posts). Thanks for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteTantalize Me looks tantalizing on you.
ReplyDeleteScrangie - Not sure if you'll notice this message because you probably have a million people asking you things .... but .... I thought you might know this ... Do you know what collection "Nude" by China Glaze is from?? I cannot find it on line for whatever reason and thought if anyone knew, you would! Just picked this color up at the store and wondering about it! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much everyone! It's a lot of work but I have lots of fun doing it!
ReplyDeleteKatie, oh gosh, I have no idea! Don't think I've ever seen that shade and I don't recall ever hearing about it, either! Sorry I'm unable to answer your question!
Scrangie! Thank you for taking the time to try to answer my question!! Its your basic light creme nude, very nice with 3 to 4 coats, just curious about the collection. I'd venture if you don't know, no one knows!! Thanks though!! :)
ReplyDeleteThese are great pics- thanks:) Spontaneous and Tantalize me are gorgeous! Spontaneous reminds me of the purplish blue from the Essie summer collection- does anyone know if they are similar or do I "need" to own both;)
ReplyDeleteWhy can't I find that look anywhere?!
ReplyDeleteI can't find that look on the net anywhere?!
ReplyDeleteRoberena, it's long, long discontinued. Most of these are not current shades.
ReplyDeleteTantalize Me is an amazing color, and I found it on eBay...gods bless eBay...considering the podunk area I live in, I'd never have China Glaze! And that would be tragic. :)
