Summer is not even over yet and the first Christmas/Holiday/Winter press release has just landed in my inbox. As I'm writing this, the sun is beating down on me from a window above and I'm feeling rather hot and uncomfortable, like I'm going to get a sunburn if I stay in direct sunlight for much longer. Thinking about snow and Christmas and winter is hilarious to me right now. This must be what it feels like to live in the southern hemisphere at Christmastime.
Despite the whimsical timing of this announcement, I'm loving the sound of it. When these come out in October, I'll definitely be picking up at least half of them. Just thought I'd share!

I love Slatkin & Co. candles! They are the best!
ReplyDeleteUGH. I am still weeping for my wallet due to the fall candles. All the bakery/food scents are killing me! I def need at least four from the Holiday Treats Collection.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, Nikki! The fall candles are amazing, especially all the bakery/food scents!
ReplyDeleteI'm totally looking forward to Marshmallow Peppermint!
ReplyDeleteOOH dark chocolate mint!!!
ReplyDeleteMint chocolate was my absolute fave last year so that one sounds pretty awesome to me. :)
slatkins are very potent, i think ill pick up the fresh scents this time instead of the sweet and foody ones
ReplyDeleteI tried out the Marshmallow Fireside mini-candle they have out now and it's SO YUMMY. Totally getting a full size of that when it comes out.
ReplyDeleteI cannot stand that I live in a temperate climate and the local Rite Aide has closed out all the summer gardening stuff and in has been all the fall ombre stuff with the Halloween stuff starting to come in now too. And this? Xmas in Aug? Gads! I know a lot of folks that buy for Xmas all year long and that's fine for them. But I hate to see Xmas decos in the stores before Halloween. I want to enjoy the fall which is out best weather season of all where I live. I don't do much anymore for end of year holiday. It's too commercial for me now. I also want any decorations I put out for it down the day after. I am pretty much down to only a table top Xmas tree and calling on friends who are not out and about much taking them something home made or a gift certificate to the grocery store - stuff that folks need and can use.
ReplyDeletei love christmas time, can't wait :D
