I was just browsing on Sephora.com checking to see if any fall collections were online yet (what, don't you obsessively check Sephora for new items too?) and I noticed these beauties and had to have them.
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eye Liner in Alloy (top) and Moss (bottom). 
They feature the same elongated, pointy felt tip as the other shades of Stila Stay All Day. 
Swatched over bare skin. Alloy, a matte medium neutral grey (no yellow/green or blue tones at all) and Moss, a matte, dark, blue-toned forest green. They go on thin and liquidy but precise because of the pointed felt tip. They dry very quickly and don't smudge once they're set. They're waterproof so they won't run or smear if you cry or run through the sprinkler in this 100 degree weather.
I really like the formula and application of these. They're not runny like some liquid liners and they're not thick and gluey like the MAC Liquidlast-type waterproof liquid liners.
A few years ago I learned that I really, really like grey eyeliner on me after trying MAC Pearlglide in Wolf and Milani Eye Tech in Charcoal. It looks all smoky and smoldering but not as bold as black. It makes my eyes look a little browner, too, which is a bonus because they always look so black.

it looks similar with MAC rapidblack penultimate eye liner. would you know how it compares to that?

i really like moss. usually i'm not a fan of green but the color is stunning.
ReplyDeletehave you ever tried grey mascara with that? I never wear black anymore only brown or dark grey and if i feel like it bright blue or turqouise :)
ReplyDeleteI think that pointy, felt tip is the best applicator ever, but I don't like the colors, they're too matte for my liking.

Cristina, haaaaahaha I love your blog name! Anyway, I like the matte, I actually prefer it over most times, but I can see why you wouldn't like it, they're very stark!
