Speaking of how much I love Essie Da Bush...
I've been wearing it a lot lately. Though, after a while, I just can't look at a plain creme mani (as much as I love them) and I have to do something to it. Usually I Konad over them, but this time I wanted something sparkly.
This is Essie Da Bush with a coat of Nicole By OPI Brilliant Idea over the thumbs (not shown) and ring fingers. I would have done all the fingers but I was in a hurry to get out the door, so accent nails it was. The pea green shade of Nicole Brilliant Idea is perfect over the creamy grey-green of Da Bush. Still don't like that name. The glitter is pretty flat for such a chunky/large glitter and it's really shiny.
Just thought I'd share... I really like how these colors look together.

I really like this together!
ReplyDeleteDa Bush is an odd name lol
I love this combination. Looks so pretty! xx
ReplyDeleteNail perfection as always.
ReplyDeleteGreat combination, it looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love accent nails.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteReally pretty, i love the different glitters in Brilliant Idea.
ReplyDeleteI adore Essie's creme's and this combo is really nice. The colours go really well together :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of accent nails, this looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty both colours.
ReplyDeleteOh I love this combo ! Amazing accent mani
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I'm wearing Stranger Tides from OPI's Pirates collection. The color seems almost identical to Da Bush--what do you think?
ReplyDeleteYay, more "ugly" green nails! Haha I am always a fan. And Brilliant Idea is one of my favorite glitters.
ReplyDeletelove it
ReplyDeleteGreat combo! Added to my shopping list ;)
ReplyDeleteLovely! I would also be interested to see how similar it is to OPI Stranger Tides which I am wearing now. It looks pretty close in the pics
ReplyDeleteNice combo.
ReplyDeleteNeed a comp w/Sew Psyched, though.
I've got ooold SH khaki greens that seem to sate.
I love green nail polishes, but they also look bad on me I feel. Yet, I always try. I feel my pastey butt could pull this color off.
ReplyDeleteTHis is absolutely stunning, I love the combo!!!
ReplyDeleteThat... is hot!!! Rock on, Rock Star! ;)
ReplyDeleteThey look good together! Nice!
ReplyDeleteIs not a color i would wear easy but i like the combo and most of all the shine it is really glossy
ReplyDeleteOooo, pretty! I dig the glittery accent nail look. I might try that with some of my blues. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a hideous name for a beautiful polish. Love the accent nail. I'm wearing an accent nail on both middle fingers. The reason is my polish has chipped on the tip because of peeling nail tips. Lippmann's Today Was a Fairytale covers beautifully.
ReplyDeleteSuper combo and I am usually not a Nicole fan at all. Wondering what the greenish glitter shade in the Burlesque collection would look like over Da Bush? Or maybe a little contrast over Da Bush ith OPI Spark De Trompie? I gotta go looking for this mini Essie summer collection. I NEED at least Da Bush.
ReplyDeleteYes, I am interested in seeing a comparison pic of Stranger Tides, Da Bush and Sew Psyched. They seem to be very similar.
ReplyDeletei love this.
