I think Wet n Wild is my new darling brand. I've been really thrilled with all the things I've bought from them lately. The whole line being dirt cheap doesn't hurt, either. I really appreciate the fact that they're releasing fun/trendy/exciting colors with good quality at an unbelievably affordable price.
I'm missing one in this picture. I couldn't get all the palettes at one store! Can you believe that? Each display was practically empty- only two or three palettes left on each. They must be doing something right because these just came out and practically flew off the shelves.
This is the one that was the hardest to find, and I can see why. It's gorgeous.
The sticker on the front tells you to turn it over and look at the back, so here's that:
Just some basic instructions on how to create a look and a little info about the product. Why that sticker was even necessary is beyond me, but hey, at least it's an extra safety seal to prevent it from being opened in the store.
Here they are in order:
331 I Dream Of Greenie.
I Dream Of Greenie has a light seafoam green shimmer, a medium turquoise shimmer and a bright lime shimmer. Look at my arm on the swatch picture- this is why I rarely wear light green shadows! Makes my skin look so red. I haven't worn this trio yet.
332 I'm Feeling Retro.
Haha, mine's upside down!
I'm Feeling Retro has a silvery metallic white, an aqua blue shimmer and a fuchsia/violet duochrome shimmer that could pass as a dupe for my favorite MAC shadow, Stars n Rockets.
333 I Got Good Jeans.

333 I Got Good Jeans.
I Got Good Jeans has a blued silver shimmer, a deep blackened navy shimmer and an amazing yellow gold shimmer. The gold is one of the prettiest golds in my collection it it looks fantastic alongside the blue. I did a look with it:
Sorry about the off-color flash photos, it was dark. This was the golden shade on the lid, the blue in the crease and the silver on the lower lashline and a tiny bit on the browbone. It recommends putting the silver on the browbone so I tried it. When I looked in the mirror, I started to feel like my skin wasn't orange enough and I wasn't posting enough sideways-peace-sign-duck-face-in-the-mirror pictures of myself on the internet, so I wiped it off.
I'm Getting Sunburned has a warm frosty pink, a blackened brown with red pearl and a rich metallic gold. Sooo pretty, I can't wait to use this one. I don't have enough eyelids.
Silent Treatment has a soft pink shimmer, a blackened brown shimmer and a purple-taupe shimmer. Perfect smoky eye palette. You don't have to think about anything at all- just put the colors on in the order it says. So beautiful:
The taupe on the lid, the black in the crease and the pink on the browbone and lower lashline. Perfect texture, great pigment. Love this palette. The eyeliner I'm wearing in these looks is Licorice by Hard Candy- a sheer black with holo glitter. I'm torn about it and I'll review it in depth soon.
Spoiled Brat has a frosty silver, a black with silver microglitter and a matte-looking yet still somehow shimmery deep pink.
I used the pink on the lid, the black in the crease and lower lashline and a little of the silver on the lower lashline and a touch on the browbone. Again, frosty silver on the browbone is not really a good look for me so I wiped it off. With this trio I found that the pink had some fading issues and the glitter in the black doesn't show up, but otherwise it was a nice set of shadows.
The one and only downside to these is that they display said that they were $1.99 but they all rang up $2.97 or something like that. I don't know which is actually the real price, but I tend to trust what's printed on the front of the display... who knows... Either way, for under $3, you're getting some really nice eyeshadow in perfectly color coordinated trios. I'm becoming a big fan of budget beauty items and lately Wet n Wild has been scoring major points with me. Can't wait to see what they do next!

Whao they're gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love the pink make up!! It's my fav ever!
I just posted these too! Great minds think alike. The retail price is supposed to be $2.99, but they are 50% at Walgreens right now!
ReplyDeleteThese look fantastic, wish we could get a hold of them in the UK! xx
ReplyDeleteI've been very surprised with all the Wet n Wild posts lately. I've always been a little weary when it comes to buying their make up products. But you've pretty much changed my opinion on that!
ReplyDeletethe permanent line trios are $2.97 full price, so I'm guessing that's what these are too. Can't wait to get some of these!! =] Your gold and blue eye look is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteoh wow they look so beautiful- all of them! and i'm really surprised that they are such good quality :)
ReplyDeletehope they will be affordable in Germany....
Thank you for the awesome swatches! I'm headed to Walgreens to buy some!
ReplyDeleteA lot of people have been raving about these new palettes, I really need to get my hands on them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the swatches! (:
Love the looks you posted! Been looking through the Walgreens in my area and haven't found them yet.
ReplyDeleteOmg i felt in love with Spoiled Brat! They all looks great!
ReplyDeleteOhmygosh what gorgeous colors! Too bad we can't get those over here. :/
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeus! I hope we'll get these here soon too:)
ReplyDeleteOkay, so... all your eye looks are freaking gorgeous but IMHO "I Got Good Jeans" is especially stunning! I mean, DANG, girl, you better be careful or your hubby's not gonna let you leave the house without him anymore! ;-P
ReplyDeleteSeriously, though, I'm in awe of your technique! How do you do it??! I'm a pretty hardcore makeup junkie and can do my eyes "okay" but no matter what or how hard I try (different primers, brushes, brands - from WnW to MAC and above and beneath [price-wise], mediums - pressed, cream, pigmens, aplications - dry, foiled, layered, you name it!) I simply can't achieve anything even CLOSE to the results you routinely post! I'm totally missing that vibrant intensity of the colors in your looks - blended perfectly (never stark or clownish) yet still always bold and not in the least "vague" or "muddy".
What do you think of posting a step-by-step tutorial of how you create one of your eye looks from start to finish? Would that be something you might be willing to do sometime (pretty, pretty, PRETTY please!!! :-D)??
Just a thought... Well, more like a desperate, begging plea! LOL! ;-D But *I'd* sure be eternally grateful (and I bet a TON of your other followers would be, too)! :)
Thank you so much for all the lovely swatches, looks, and awesome reviews! You ROCK, Scrangie!
I've been super impressed by the WnW color Icon palettes I've used so far.The colors are great and the pigmentation and staying power has surpassed some HE brands I've bought. Thanks for showing us these new colors. I can't wait to see what you do with I'm Feeling Retro.
ReplyDeleteA couple of weeks ago Gianna at Nouveau Cheap had swatches of the upcoming new 8-pan palettes!
ReplyDeleteLove how they're coming out with great colour combinations - wonder if they'll show up in Canada. I'll be on the lookout for them.
ReplyDeleteAnd that yellow look you did? Insanely hot!
Hehe..."I can't wait to use this one. I don't have enough eyelids." You're so funny! :)

These look fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I love these! I might have to go out and buy them all!
ReplyDeleteWalgreens has a 50% off Wet N Wild special this week, I may have to pick up a few of these!
ReplyDeleteAawww, I wish we had this brand in the Czech Republic... :( :( I would definitely buy them all!
ReplyDeleteI love that last look! WOW!
ReplyDeleteI LURVE I Dream of Greenie and I'm Feelin' Retro. Those are the two I bought. I kinda want Silent Treatment and Spoiled Brat. nice :)
ReplyDeleteI have several Wet n' Wild shadow trios and the holiday sets. It's amazing how good these are. I love seeing the looks you create with them.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! I've only been hearing good things about Wet n Wild lately! Love it!
ReplyDeletelmfao @ duck-face comment.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are seriously gorgeous, I wish I could get them in the UK (as far as I know, I can't). And I second a step-by-step tutorial type post from you please :)
I got I'm feeling Retro a couple weeks ago TOTALLY 80's which I love.
ReplyDeleteOH you are trying so hard to get me to buy these! WetnWild has really improved their shadows.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I might need some of these. Holy crap. Thanks for the swatches! :D
ReplyDelete"I don't have enough eyelids"?!! Bwahaha!! I know exactly what you mean!
ReplyDeleteThats sad that we don't have it in Estonia, but is there any onlineshops that ship to the europe countries?
ReplyDeleteWow! gorgeous look! The pink Look is fantastic! Thanks for reviews and swatches!
ReplyDeleteRuthieGirl, awe you're so sweet! I could maybe do a tutorial sometime, but I really don't do anything special! I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance as a base, have you tried that primer? It's amazing!
ReplyDeleteLiisablogi, I'm so sorry, I don't know of one! eBay or Amazon perhaps?
I wish I could find these here...we never get stuff this early....I may find it by Summer....
ReplyDeleteThese look fantastic, and I'm super-impressed with Wet n' Wild's new product formulations and still retaining their inexpensive price points.
ReplyDeleteI picked up "Silent Treatment" and "I'm Getting Sunburned" today (and I'm contemplating "I Got Good Jeans" and "Spoiled Brat" since they're 50% off through tomorrow night) but, they rang up at 50% off at the register. The money may not be a big deal to you, but if you take the receipt back to the register and tell them ALL Wet n' Wild stuff is 50% off, they should refund you.
they are at kmart regular price $1.99. I happened to get the silent treatment. They were all out of spoiled brat :( i wanted i dream of greenie but the only one there the shadows were broken :(
ReplyDeleteooh those are so pretty! i have been wanting to buy some new eyeshadows, and these are very affordable for me. i will be sure to look out for them.
ReplyDeleteThese are so gorgeous! As soon as I saw you're post I went to 3 different local drugstores that carry Wet N' Wild in search of these beauties. Just as I was about to give up, I went to the 4th store and they had all of them! I got Silent Treatment (the last one!!!) and walking on eggshells. Seriously, these are the BEST drugstore eye shadows!
ReplyDeleteThey were marked $2.99 at my local Walgreens and I got them at 50% off! I didn't buy all of them since I have similar colours, but I was super excited to get them discounted.
ReplyDeleteThis post made me hunt them down! I have on spoiled brat today and I am STUNNED. LOVING THESE! They are super excited for the 8 pan ones coming out next!
ReplyDeleteI found some of these at Rite Aid and they are buy one get one half off today! I wish they had some of the cooler ones though like Spoiled Brat. I ended up getting Knock on Wood which has a light pink, a medium dark warm dusty pink, and a dark taupe-y brown. Now that I've swatched it I want to go back for more and hunt other Rite Aids for more colors. They're really great!
ReplyDeleteI hunted further and I found the rest of the trios today - I got them all! :) I love them. I would never have looked at these twice if it wasn't for you. Thank you so much! These trios are so nice - the pigments are vibrant, the colors are great, the shadows blend easily and feel soft on the eye...and the price! Strangely enough, Spoiled Brat and I Dream of Greenie were the hardest to find for me - I only saw one of each of them. Silent Treatment was completely untouched in the display - there were 3 of them in there! (The display has 3 of each palette.) Weird! Thank you again for the great swatches and amazing looks. I'm so happy you reviewed these or I never would have known about them. I can't wait to play with them! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm so very glad you posted about the recent WnW releases - they're surprisingly nice and I've picked up quite a number after seeing them on here.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this (and I'm sure you've noticed this) but I think the "turn me over" is meant so that people see the "peel here" on the back and lift the first layer of the tag to reveal the second. That is where they list the ingredients and more detailed step-by-step instructions. :D
