ORLY Cosmic FX
Next Generation Nail Lacquers Offer the Latest Texture and Color Innovations…
As ORLY continues to pioneer the nail category with distinct and trend setting finishes and color, the brand introduces its latest addition to its portfolio of textured finishes with Cosmic FX. The new, limited-edition collection delivers multi-dimensional flashes of intense shimmering shine that is so electrifying your nails will explode with color! This lighting phenomenon is achieved by ORLY’s exclusive MINERAL FX technology.
The innovation infuses natural rock minerals, crystals, and glass to give nails a special optical effect with extreme luster, rich pearlescence, and a smooth, sparkling spectrum of concentrated color.
The MINERALFX technology includes specialty mica, that allows for a clearer, vibrantly bright lustrous shimmer. Crystals allow for a multi-dimensional color transformation. Glass particles carefully controlled in shape and size create a luminous phenomenon. This combination infused with the Silica and specific colors selected create this exclusive technology that gives nails a unique optical effect that’s magnified as the lighting source intensifies or viewing angle changes.
Cosmic FX perfectly accentuates the looks seen in the Fall 2010 runway collections – from the futuristic Audrey Hepburn at Miu Miu to Ann Demeulemeester’s feathered and metal cuffs and Issey Miyake’s colorful leggings.
The six Lacquers in the Cosmic FX Collection include:
Lunar Eclipse: Blue with Pink Purple Fx
Galaxy Girl: Purple with Blue Green Fx
It’s Not Rocket Science: Green with Gold Blue Fx
Space Cadet: Green with Purple Gold FX
Halleys Comet: Turquoise with Green Yellow Fx
Out of this world: Purple with Pink Silver Fx
Apply two coats of the Nail Lacquer to achieve the ultimate in color.
All ORLY Nail Lacquers including the Cosmic FX Collection are free of DBP, Toluene and all traces of Formaldehyde and Formaldehyde Resin.
Agh, sounds awesome but $10???
ReplyDeleteOooh, they sound like duochromes, based on the description! I love the write up, and now I am super excited about another fall collection!
ReplyDeleteA $10 polish at Sally? Wowzers.
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to see these.
ReplyDeleteThese sound amazing! If they finish the same way the FoilFX finished, I'm going to be SO happy. Thanks for the head's up!
ReplyDeleteOh dear goodness I need pictures! These sound simply wonderful!
ReplyDeletethese sound like they might be really cool, can't wait to check them out!
ReplyDeleteHello, I'm manicure for a long time now and started writing a blog to share my experiences and meet new people. I love your blog and how I'm getting now, I wonder if you can help me it discloses linking me to your blogroll. Link your well. I hope one day to reach the foot of your blog. A big kiss. Carol
ReplyDeleteOh! I wonder if this Plastix is some sort of liquid version of Minx?
ReplyDeleteAlso, looking forward to the Cosmic set, too.
Can't wait for swathes! I think Orly is under rated in many ways.
More on my "want list"!
Oooh, ahhh...all these new collections are going to break me.
ReplyDelete10 bucks for something I can get at a drugstore? Are they on crack?
ReplyDelete10$ isn't really a lot. OPI's are here in Europe about 24$, you can all be SO GLAD to have those wonderful cheap nail polishes.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap! They sound cool! I dont care about the price though.
ReplyDeleteSounds great but $10...I don't know..they better be awesome for the "fee increase"!! I hope this "increase" isn't a habit for Orly.
ReplyDelete$10!?! They sound cool though...
ReplyDeleteWANT! & seriously hope the etailers will have them at a cheaper price...
ReplyDeleteThose sound awesome!! $10? That's a little steep. But once I see some swatches, I'll probably pony up.
ReplyDeleteYES PLEASE! gimme gimme
ReplyDeleteWow, they sound awesome, but $10?! That's a little steep.
ReplyDeleteOoo... I wonder if this will be Orly's version of OPI's DS. O_O
ReplyDeleteomg what is with the pricing? i love orly but really $10 is a tad steep for something that normally retails for $6. between these, the plastix, the new china glaze collection i better get a second job! any news on the new zoya collection?? *sheepish grin*
ReplyDeleteThese colors are so gorgeous. Wonder if this is Orly's answer to Opi's Designer Series?
ReplyDeleteOrly has been so on point for creating interesting finishes lately. The circles of color present a captivating view of the collection. I am so curious to see how these appear on the nail. The write up really has me intrigued.
ReplyDeleteIf they're as awesome as I'm hoping, $10, ha! I'd pay a lot more.
ReplyDelete*SCREAM*
ReplyDeleteI want ALL of these... oh man oh man...
Will this finally surpass my love of the CG Rodeo Diva collection??
um..
Thanks for this
BV
Good evening - I am professional from oversea and saw them personal in Bologna on the Trade Fair! They ARE gorgeous, believe me... Here in Europe customers paying minimum 12 USD for ORLY and the German distributor of OPI takes 19,50 USD each bottle!
ReplyDeletegreat product, my friend has recommended this to me many times
ReplyDeleteSounds really cool!!! The Plastix collection sounds cool too! I love when companies dream up different things. There's only so many times you can release the same color creme before it gets old.
