Sally Hansen Project Runway. Isn't this spectacular? Look at all the little gold sparkles!! This one was apparently only released in Canada (WTF, Sally?!). A dear friend gave me the entire collection and I've been meaning to do a full review of it, but I can't believe I haven't posted about this green yet! A lot of people ask me what my favorite polishes are and I have a hard time answering. The answer is: It changes every day! No... more like... every 15 minutes. This is one of my newer favorites. It's totally a fantasy polish. It's like a deep, mossy, magical forest, or maybe a fish tail swimming through a murky green lake with only a few rays of sunshine glinting off the water. I could go on and on about this polish... It's not just an amazing color, it evokes lots of pretty imagery in my head. And that's something important to me in a polish- the ability to not be 'just a color', but to remind me of things, bring back memories or inspire me.

It was only available in Canada? Hmmm... one of the very few things that we Canucks have that other countries do not. We have trouble getting soooooo many American polishes. >.< Grrr. I'll keep my eyes peeled for this.

ReplyDeleteThis is really unique. I've been pretty impressed with Sally Hansen lately (although the new line of salon inspired polishes are a little pricey for me!). Too bad this is only available in Canada - but at least Canadians can enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteI'm from Canada and ever since I heard about this release, I've been looking everywhere for it...but no dice! Even when I find the collection, that colour's the only one that's all sold out. But I'll still keep looking and hoping. Eventually it'll turn up, and I don't want to resort to looking on eBay or paying ridiculous prices just to get it.

ReplyDeleteThis was available at the beginning of the Fall but sadly is now out of stores ... that said, if you live in Toronto, all the Sally Hansen Canadian exclusives ultimately wind up in spades at the Canadian National Exhibition in August. I've picked up full collections of the Canadian exclusives Passport(s) to Tokyo, Morocco and Switzerland ... just FYI!
