Amour Rain Glitter.
I have a thing about rainbow glitters. Sometimes I think I love them, sometimes I think they look like a birthday party threw up on my nails.
Nevertheless, I can't stop collecting them. Amour Rain Glitter is one of the few that I actually love wearing once it's on my nails. It's a very unique blend of lots of different colors- red, blue, gold, silver, sometimes I think I even see a little green or black or orange in there too. The thing I like the most about this particular rainbow glitter is the shape of the glitter itself. It's like little broken shards- some are little sticks, some are just irregular shapes. Really cool.
The only thing I don't like about this polish- and all Amour polishes- is the weird brush. It's long and floppy, a little like Maybelline's brush, but softer. Makes it a little tricky to apply the polish, but it's not so bad that I avoid it.
But hey... $2. Can't complain for $2.

Love it! So fun!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty color.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you posted this swatch. I have had this color on my list for some time now. I have to get it now! :D
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite cheap glitter nail polishes. I love the unevenness of the glitter too. :)
ReplyDeleteDrool......
ReplyDeleteI have not heard of this brand before, but that is why I love this blog.
ReplyDeleteThis is a vERY cool polish, like a sci fi birthday party.
Do you recommend a way to remove nail polish with glitter like in your swatches? I have a glitter polish like that and it is really hard to remove. Any tricks or secrets?
ReplyDeleteDoes this compare at all to Opi Mad as a Hatter? It looks similar to me. Thanks =]
ReplyDeleteohhh my goodness. this is so incredibly gorgeous, wow.
ReplyDeleteLOVE. Must track this down... Scrangie you are so bad for my wallet!
ReplyDeleteThis is super pretty, I'm jealous! I wish we'd get those polishes here in Europe.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I have a question for you, I hope you don't mind me asking. I've been looking for a warm pink polish, but I'm not sure which one I should get. I don't care that much about the brand, I usually buy polishes on eBay (OPI, China Glaze, Essie...) but pinks tend to look really different depending on swatches, so what would you recommend? I'm very pale, with very subtle yellow undertones. Thanks so much!
It looks like your nails caught all the fallen light from fireworks. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have this one but I have not worn it in a while. Your post makes me want to get it out and put it on my nails NOW! It's so pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh man, WHY don't I have that yet?
ReplyDeleteThat's just breathless! :D
ReplyDeletewanderfull! Here in Brazil havent collor so beautifull..
ReplyDeleteI love your channel girl, where would you find this amour nail polish? Is it at Sally's or in any drug store?
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! Where can you purchase it?
ReplyDeleteScrangie, which is your FAVOURITE rainbow glitter of all time?
ReplyDeletealso why don't you post so much on MUA these days? Hope you're well.
"A birthday party threw up on my fingers" that killed me! UK nail varnish retailers really need to start importing some of this fab stuff for us UK varnish junkies!
ReplyDeletevery pretty
ReplyDeleteI wish you hadn't said that thing about the birthday party because I think I know what you mean and it isn't good!
ReplyDeleteThese are cheap.
Is it a PITA to remove? It looks vicious. How many coats of TC to make it smooth?
Any other Amour recommendations?
Thanks!
Hello, after I looked at your blog I was addicted to nail polish, I'm your fan.hahaha.
ReplyDeleteHere (Brazil) polishes are very cheap, costing around U.S. $ 0.70 to U $ 1.50. Yesterday I bought 15 bottles, but the polishes that you have, china glaze, opi, essie, I do not find here.
Where in California can I buy this beautiful polish?
ReplyDeleteI'm sad I'm not the first to say it (anonymous beat me), but doesn't that look a lot like Mad Hatter? I wonder if I should be rethinking my purchase strategy...
ReplyDeleteHow does this compare to OPI Mad as a Hatter?
ReplyDeleteStunning!!!
ReplyDeleteThis does look a lot like Mad As A Hatter. I was going to order both polishes a while ago, but decided to only get MAAH instead after seeing this swatch.
ReplyDeleteHow would you say they compare? MAAH is one of my favourite polishes and I'm already ordering a back up...but I don't know if I should get Rain Glitter too...

Where would one buy such a beauty? I've never heard of this brand before, and it's GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteIs there a dupe of Amour Rain Glitter??? I can't find the actual polish anywhere. =(
