Zoya Reverie Colors Revealed
Okay, here they are! (Left to right)
Happi: Pink blush meallic
Lana: Rich re metallic
Gwin: Sunny melon metallic
Adina: Duochrome violet metallic
Reece: Gilded rose metallic
Laney: Moonlit silver metallic
Release is January 2010
EDIT: I've just received a little more info on these that I thought would be worth sharing: The finish is supposed to have an iridescent "oil slick" like effect- a subtle duochrome-like shimmer! They're supposed to also be very wearable and flattering. I'll have swatches as soon as I have these in my hands.
I love Zoya, I really do, but this is disappointing. I totally expected some yellows and oranges, not more pinks and reds!
ReplyDeleteSure, they're pretty. And I'll probably wear them. But man, do I feel let down.
Hopefully you'll swatch them up and change my mind. :)
Love,
JP

Wow ! They seem to be stunning !!! I can't wait to see the "real" polishes :-)
ReplyDeleteswooning over duochrome loveliness Adina!
ReplyDeletenice.. but i agree with JP fully. i have a hard time finding a REALLY good orange or yellow.
ReplyDeleteAdina looks very interesting. I'm curious to see actual polishes!
ReplyDeleteThey look nice, but not as exciting as I hoped. The word "duochrome" makes me excited but I was expecting more sunny colors like yellow and orange. But you never really know until you see swatches, right? We will see.
ReplyDeleteAgree with JP, totally. Plus looking at Adina, is there not already a colour that looks like this? Ki I think. So not 100%, nut hiw much of the same thing we need?
ReplyDeleteATM the CG collections does a lot more for me. Maybe they should have released the collection for fall.
They look pretty! I can't wait to see your swatches. I'm sure they will turn into major lemmings after that! :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's definitely more of the same. As if they don't have enough pinks and reds. Boooring. BUT! That violet duochrome I REALLY want to see swatches of, to see how deep the purple comes off. Heck, it might satisfy my Zeitgeist desire! I can't find that ANYWHERE. Stupid Rimmel >:(
ReplyDeleteThe duochrome is the only one that intrigues me.
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit disappointed as well. It's a 6-color release, and there's 2 pinks and 2 reds? And then the other two are only pale purple and silver?
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like an Essie collection more than a Zoya.
I like Adina and Laney. The rest, I'll have to reserve my opinion until I see them
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I feel a bit disappointed too, I'm not that much into pinks or reds (I hardly ever use them) so there's only a few plishes that I'm interested in this time. I'm a Zoya fan, but this is just bleh for me :P
ReplyDeleteadina!!! definately looking forward to seeing that one!
ReplyDeleteThese are just okay for me...I am not drooling. This is a different collection for Zoya. They did the bright reds, oranges, and yellows last year, so I applaud the move to something different. They are just not my cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteWell sign me in for the Disappointed Club!! Unless Scrangie's swatches show me otherwise, I think I could name a twin (a cousin at least) for each one of them... and from the same brand.
ReplyDeleteNot interested in a single one :(
My wallet is very happy, tough, cause I want at least half of CG and OPI spring collections :)
I love metallics! Part of me wonders if these are really metallics or if they just have a ton of shimmer. I am most interested in Gwen and Adina. I wonder if melon is going to lean more towards coral or orange. I have found that I've been interested in traditional colors made more unusual by formula. I can think of Zoya America as fitting that idea. I hope these follow suit.
ReplyDeleteVery Pretty! Looking forward to it!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see swatches of Adina, Reece, and Happi!! Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteI'm getting them all!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAdina looks promising... Reece sounds like Shivon (which is very pretty but I already own it)
ReplyDeleteI won't know if any are lemmings until I see swatches.
I'm feeling a little disappointed with this collection as well... the only one appealing to me (from this promo pic) is Gwin; but I bet your swatches will probably make me like them all, they usually do ;)
ReplyDeleteSo - when do we get to see those swatches?
Hmmmm, really not as exciting as I thought. I may check out the melon one, but really that's all I am remotely interested in.
ReplyDeleteNot happy at all ! I want more oranges, and bright peaches..maybe "Gwin" will be alright, but overall...I'll pass! I agree with JP!
ReplyDeleteOooh -- about half of that looks like I need them (the duochromes). The rest - not my style...
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Some really interesting stuff in there... The purple/green duochrome seems utterly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLOVE ZOYA.Iam getting them.Iam eagerly waiting for the swatches .
