I know a lot of you are going, "WTF happened to Konad week?!"
I got two posts into Konad Week before the thought of posting the same thing for a week straight bummed me out too much to continue. That, and I kept getting interrupted by cool new stuff. Important lesson learned- I need variety and if I force myself to do the same thing for more than a few days it makes me not want to do it.
I'm still going to post all the Konad stuff I was planning on posting, just not consecutively. It makes me happier that way. I'm very sorry if I let any of you down by not doing 7 solid days of Konad. There will still be Konad posts, I promise.
Anyway, to make up for it, I have great news from my gal Kathleen over at OC Nail Art! Here are the details:
Effective August 11, 2009, OCNAILART will honor all competitor's coupon codes... if you see a competing Konad e-tailer with a coupon code and you want to use that code - just enter it at checkout and you will receive that discount!! And as always - shipping is FREE on all orders over $20 (after discounts are applied) - even INTERNATIONALLY.
If there's a code out there that doesn't work at checkout, Kathleen might not be aware of it. Just send her an email and she'll add it! http://store.ocnailart.com
And if you don't know of a code to use, there's always 'scrangie' for 20% off :)

I prefer that every day be a surprise, rather than a theme, anyway. Guess I have a short attention span. Anyway, post whatever feels right! It'll help keep you from burning out.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Seriously, I am loving that butterfly stamp! Thanks for the code.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a gorgeous manicure! It reminds me of Anna Sui! ^_^
ReplyDeleteThat butterfly is awesome, thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHow can you do such professional manicure in yourself??
ReplyDeleteI like randomness myself, so I understand the challenge of following a theme, even when I like it. :)
ReplyDeleteI have nail polish ADD, too, so no problem with me in not completing your Konad week. BTW, that mani is fab. So, so pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteI completely understand not wanting to be limited to a theme. I wanted to wear the Zoya La Di Da collection for a week, but I needed to mix it up. Then I thought about a week of holos and nearly went mad. What if it rained?! Too stressful!
ReplyDeleteLove the butterflies! Some day I will double stamp on each nail. Maybe I could do that for a week...aaaaah! ;)
Kathleen has the best offers! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I adore that konadicure. Such cute butterflies! :)
I like it cause it sounds like Konrad.
ReplyDeleteAwesome.
Jenoer
Beautiful mani! I love how well the purple shows up on the black nail polish. Really pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh no! My poodle is kayaking into a potato of orange patio spaghetti from the beaver hut in lilac valley! GO COCONUTS!
ReplyDeleteHow long is the promo Scrangie ??
ReplyDelete(I think this month marks a year I have been reading :) Thanks.
I look forward to whatever you choose to post. I like change too, so different topics are always cool. The Konad pics are great, but I love everything you choose to post.
ReplyDeleteSince someone raised the topic of randomness, I really do work that way at times. However, I do plan nailpolish use; I categorize according to season (winter. spring/summer, fall), then alphabetize within the season. That way it is a different colour family and/or finish every couple of days, and I don't have to agonize about what to wear. :)
Are there any animal print plates?
ReplyDeleteLove your Konading skills. Just gorgeous. I'll get over the lack of Konad week. I will come to your blog just to see the polish dry!
ReplyDeleteYes, CoolTrash there are animal print plates. M57 has leopard and zebra. M61 has cow print/dalmatian. There is leopard french tip on M45. Leopard and lace trim on M50. Tiger stripe french tip on M62. Tiger on M69. There may be more. I just did ones I remembered and glanced at the Konad site. :) I just ordered my Konad so I haven't even tried it yet.
