This is exactly what I needed to see today too (feeling a little blue as well)...hope you feel better soon! Maybe you need to follow up your Blue post with a cheery post - like yellow or orange!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah! Hello gorgeousness! I "need" more blues:P
ReplyDeleteoh scrangie this is too sad....CHEER UP!...but even though its sad....still able to pull of wicked colour variety :) get better ...please...
ReplyDeleteSorry you're sad, girl. But, you do make your readers happy and it brings me joy when I see your name in bold on my feed burner. Sending a sweet prayer your way for your spirits to lift.
ReplyDeleteAww :(
ReplyDelete*hug*
Gorgeous blues though.
I just started a "Nail Polish of The Week" for a 2009 "Personal Project". I used the China Glaze Blue Sparrow in January. I LOVED that color. All of these blues are awesome.
ReplyDeleteGreat Blog! I'll be back for sure! :)
Don't be blue. Every cloud has a silver lining (hint for tomorrows post?)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear youre sad, wish I could cheer you up! :O
Awwww... *hugs and puppies* I hope this feeling will pass soon. =/
ReplyDeleteBIG HUGS....WE LOVE YOU!!!
ReplyDeleteYour swatches and writing make my day, so if you ever need the favour returned, please email me!
<} <} <} <}
*hugs* Sorry hon, hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI feel bad finding pleasure in your sadness, but your blues are beautiful! Your Sinful post yesterday caused to to go polish hunting and I found an old school one, Soft Mink, at a small beauty supply! Feel better :)
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping that tomorrow's post brings a color that demonstrates you're feeling brighter and happier. I think you're terrific and am so grateful for your blog and the wonderful work you do. Thank you for the post of blues...I'm sure I'll be back again and again!
ReplyDeleteAww scrangie :(
ReplyDeleteSo sorry your feeling so blue. The day right now is grey. I hope we can both feel better tommorow. I am taking much enjoyment from all the blue polishes. I don't have Blue Sparrow and I love the color. Metallica would be great to blast right now. If I didn't have such a headache I would do it. Hope their music picks you up.
ReplyDeleteBeing blue never looked so good. I'm sorry you're feeling down, but thanks for all the great swatches.
ReplyDeleteScrangie, your 'blues' actually brightened my day immensely!! These are sensational pics and the colors jump off the screen!
ReplyDeleteThank you for these - they are beautiful!! :)
I'm still kicking myself for passing up on ME.
ReplyDelete*hugs* Scrangie, I hope you feel better soon, fabulous pics :-)
ReplyDeleteSorry about the blues. Winter is dragging on so long isn't it? Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteLove the rock references, but not that you're sad...
ReplyDeleteSorry about the blues.. *hugs* Feel better, pronto! :)
ReplyDeleteThat NARS Midnight Express is pure LOVE!! It's gorgeous!
Hope you cheer up soon! Remember, what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger... :)
ReplyDeleteSunny
Sorry to hear you're blue. When I saw that Clarins had a polish named Metallica, I wondered how they avoided being sued by the band. Metallica sued Victoria's Secret for having an eye pencil named Metallica.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you, Scrangie. I wish it wasn't you being down that inspired this lovely collection of sexy blues!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting some beautiful polishes, today and every day.
Hugs, fluffy clouds, and lots of green polishes to you.
*jen
I hope you feel better! The blues are gorgeous (it's my fave nail polish color); how does Sephora Blue Sapphire compare to Naturistics Crystal Blue Pearl? Or how about my biggest lemming of all, Essie Starry Starry Night? I hope tomorrow is sunnier for you <3
ReplyDeleteAll of them are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you feel better.
Tell me where and when did you get this sally hansens magical makeup blue aura? So gorgeous. I never seen it in the drug stores.
Wow, those colours look beautiful. You apply so neatly haha :) I hope you feel better though
ReplyDeleteAwww sorry to hear you are feeling sad. Hope tomorrow is a better day for you!
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess this is the day to de-lurk and tell you how much you contribute to keeping me relatively cheerful. I wish I were as productive and giving with my blues as you clearly are.
ReplyDeleteAnd -- man -- I really need some of those China Glaze's..
*rocks out with you*
ReplyDelete*passes chocolate*
*passes sparkle/holo/glittahs to make you smile*
(obviously not to be eaten with the chocolate)
Beautiful blues! I've never seen that Sephora polish before! Hope you feel better, Scrangie <3
ReplyDeleteScrangie- you have the most poetic way of sharing your sadness, by making the rest of us smile.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your candor. :)
If you want a song to cheer you up, listen to "Pro Nails" by Kid Sister. If you have never heard it before, you can watch the video on youtube. Even if you don't like hiphop, the song is amazing, because it celebrates polish. Hope you feel better!
ReplyDeleteThose are all beautiful on you! <3
ReplyDelete- sybelle
awww poor u :( feel better!
ReplyDeletelove the blue swatches tho....esp the sally hansen magical & that sephora glitter blue!
Have a drink on me.
ReplyDeleteLove ya' Scrangie!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know China Glaze made THAT many blues! Wow! They're gorgeous. I should pick some up one day.
ReplyDeleteThis post inspired me - I now have CC 220 V on my tips :)
ReplyDeleteScrangie, sorry to hear that you're feeling down. I'm in the same boat - was dumped a few days before Valentine's Day by a man who I thought had marriage potential...and my birthday is coming up in a few days, too. This month is looking like total crap. Too bad we can't go for drinks together...or at least paint each others' nails. (Yours are gorgeous as always!) Hope things look brighter for you. I'm sending positivity your way.
ReplyDeleteCan you still be sad with color like that? LOL. Nails look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI bought 3 of the Sephora glitter polishes(blue, purple, red) thanks to that Blue Sapphire pic!!! Gorgeous pics, love the blues!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better. I wish I could give you a hug :-)
I loved the blues.....especially those of China Glaze and that one of Sephora looks cool too....
ReplyDeletehope you're feeling better today and i'm sending you a huge hug !
Awe...Pumpkin, are you feeling any better today? I am sorry you got sick too. I love you! ((((Hugs))))
ReplyDeleteGorgeous swatches Scrangie! Hope you feel better soon!!
ReplyDeleteLove you and your fabulous nails. Great big hugs!
ReplyDeleteYou have made me a blue believer! Thanks for doing the blue.
ReplyDeleteScott
Nicole by OPI's "it's up to you" is so weird. I just bought it, before i saw your swatches, and on camera and on my nails its just blue. But at the store it had a green/teal duochrome, which i hoped would show up more green over black than it does..
ReplyDeleteAnyways, it's actually got like.. too many sheens for me to describe! it's got a pink duochrome ish colour in side light, and then a green duochrome in other weird extreme lights, and purple in other lights. How do you get these colours to show up? They're all so beautiful!
I know this is a very very very delayed response to this awesome post, but I am faintly hoping that you might be able to do, some time, a swatch comparison of Opi Blue My Mind and China Glaze Frostbite ...
ReplyDeleteFantastic post, this - blue is my Colour of Choice for nails and my shopping list has grown looking at it ...
Hi Scrangie!! Do you know of an OPI dupe (or close to) for China Glaze Tempest? I'm an OPI lover, but fell for this colour - I'm not impressed with the formula/consistency though, but the colour is amazing.
ReplyDeleteAny thoughts?
