Sorry, Diann_co! I didn't forget about you, I promise! I had assumed it would be very easy to find matches for all these colors, but I was wrong. After comparing lots of colors, I think I've found some suitable dupes. I don't think I've been able to find any exact matches, though!
Thumb: OPI All That Razz-Berry
Index to pinkie: Essie Big Spender, OPI It's Toe-Tally Summer!, China Glaze Designer Satin, Essie Pool Boy.
As you can tell, none of these are exact matches, but they're pretty close.
Thumb to pinkie: Essie Forever Young, Essie Pepperoni, Essie E! Love From The Red Carpet, Essie Jelly Apple, Misa Hand Spin Silk.
I think the best match here might be Pepperoni. I apologize for the blurriness- I didn't realize that I had smudged my lens until after I had taken the picture!
Thumb to pinkie: Essie Lacy Not Racy, China Glaze Patent Leather, Essie Macks, Rescue Beauty Lounge Killa Red, Essie UP'S
The best match here is definitely Killa Red, but it's missing that slight purple tinge that Lacy Not Racy has.
Thumb to pinkie: Essie Tomboy No More, China Glaze Gypsy Girl, OPI Kangarooby, OPI Malaga Wine, Color Club Feverish
It seems like Malaga Wine and Gypsy Girl are tied for best match here, but still not exact.
I'm still looking for matches to the other two colors in the fall collection, but I really don't own too many colors similar to those.
Again, I apologize for the poor quality of these swatches. I promise never to (accidentally) touch my camera lens again!

Thank you so much, dear Scrangie!

Masa_inn, thank you, thank you! :D
ReplyDeleteExcellent comparisons!
ReplyDeleteBad quality? No way! Awesome swatches of more beautiful polishes
ReplyDeletethanks, Scrangie!
ReplyDeleteSminkan, thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteSanna, why thank you :)
Diann_co, you're very welcome! it's a work in progress, so if I find something better I'll be sure to post it!
I just got these Essies. I LOVE them.
ReplyDeleteSteph, yay! Don't they rock? I'm so glad they did these colors. I love them. Sure, I was hoping for a little glitter, but I'm in the minority there ;-)
ReplyDeleteYeah I agree scrangie. I wish there was more shimmer to them!
ReplyDeleteI love shimmer and spakle!
Beautylover, yay! Another sparkle fan :) <3
ReplyDeleteI am in a constant search of red colour. I saw some good reds in Essie which are available in our shops where I live. But the custom service generally sucks here. So they have only bottles, so the only way to check the colour is to stare at the bottle with that awful light which they have in a shop.
ReplyDeleteSo that is why I would like to ask maybe you by chance have colours like Russian Roulette (I feel for this colour because I am Russian but not sure about it orange-y tone) and Really Red.
Also maybe you have some classical MAC reds to compare?
I think about OPI Big Apple Red but it seems too dark for me.
So I would be happy if you can swatch those reds.
and also tell a bit how Essie and Mac are behave when you where them. Can they keep 5 days or not? Are they good with application. My friend was complaining about Essie which she could buy when she lived in America that it gives stripes.
Thanks a lot in advance! Love your blog!
