These are actually really similar. China Glaze Mom's Chiffon is much brighter than it looked in China Glaze's swatches and pictures. It's not quite neon, but it's nice and vibrant. OPI Elephantastic Pink is very similar in tone and color, but it's more sheer. It takes three coats to be completely opaque, but it looks really nice with two coats.

Pretty close, right?

Thankyou so much for doing this scrangie, mom's chiffon will be left out of the next order :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comparison! Maybe I'll have to shop Elephantastic pink after all, I had a crush on it before but then I forgot all about it.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to get both of them but after seeing how close they are, I think I'm gonna go for Elephantastic (love ProWide). Thanks so much for the pics Scrangie! :D

Yeah, they look really close!
ReplyDeleteTabe-chan, Badbomben, TK, you're very welcome!
ReplyDeleteSanna, I think they're running out of ideas for colors!
Great comparison! You read our minds...Scrangie, any chance that one of these beautiful pinks is similar to MAC Lola Devine (if you happen to have it)? I love how Lola looks on swatches so I am desperately searching for a dupe. I have been told in the MUAnb that Lola's dupes could be Elephantastic or OPI Back to the Beach Peach (discontinued). What would you say? A Gazillion thanks :)
ReplyDeleteAna
Ana, yes I do have a pic of Lola Devine!

I have Back To The Beach Peach, but don't have a picture of it. I don't think that one is as close, but I can snap a quick pic if you'd like.
Oops, I forgot to mention how similar it was.
ReplyDeleteIf you can tell by the pic, it's slightly peachier than OPI and China Glaze, but it is quite similar. OPI's formula is better anyway :D
Oh, too much cuteness! Now I can see all your polish pics! You are so guilty of my new lemmings. So many colors!!! *faints* :)
ReplyDeleteI add more to the album every day :D
ReplyDeleteOh, I forgot to put my name in the previous msg...Thanks a lot again!
ReplyDeleteAna
Nooooooooo, dont tell me that!!! Now I will be compulsively checking for new colors every other hour...(I'm going to end up bankrupt, so soon...blame the nail polish)
ReplyDeleteAna
LOL!!! :D
ReplyDeletewhat about epink compared to essie 09 status symbol?
ReplyDeletewhat do you think?
I discovered Elephantastic Pink recently and I love it! It's perfect for me, I have pale skin and it's not too bright but gives me the 'pop' of pink that I crave.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
