Did you know that Lippmann Collection polishes contain green tea and biotin? I didn't know that... until I read the box.
Normally I read every bit of text on every single box I can get my hands on, but I was so excited about what was inside the Lippmann boxes, I hurriedly removed the contents and tossed aside the boxes. I am ashamed. I promise to read the box from now on.
So, yes, Lippmann Collection polishes contain green tea and biotin. That's pretty sweet.
I really like the Lippmann formula, but I've gotten two messed up brushes. That's just not right. I'm going to write a letter, but until then, here is my Lippmann Collection collection.

ReplyDeleteBELIEVE!!!!! I NEED IT IMMEDIATELY
*ded*
When the sun hits it it has this beautiful multi-colored fine shimmer to it... It really is beautiful. I'm not helping, am I? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI have Believe and it's a VIP(olish) in my small np collection. :) I'm aching, simply aching to get Bitches Brew, Stardust, Hit Me With Your Best Shot and Since I Fell For You which is described as a "shimmering shiraz". Shimmer! Shiraz! Alliteration! I must HAVE EET!
ReplyDelete"Just Walk Away Renee" looks freakin' hot!
ReplyDeleteShryh, lol! I'll have to check that one out, I'm curious now. Bitches Brew is amazing, I've worn it twice already. Go for it :)
ReplyDeleteSanna, it IS! Very sexy. I love it!
How would you compare JWAR and Atame (Rescue Beauty)?
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that Atame is kinda similar to both Bitches Brew and JWAR. Am I right?
Thanks in advance! /I don't need a comparison pics, I will take your word on it :)/
Hey masa_inn, you're right! It's pretty similar to both. Compared together, JWAR has more of a brownish tinge to it and Atame seems more reddish with an almost purple look. Side by side they seem to be similar in darkness and depth.
ReplyDeleteHope this helps :D
Oh, it definitely helps! I'm going to skip Atame! /gasp/
ReplyDeleteI just arranged a swap for Chinoise and I'm more excited about it than I was contemplating my first sex. It probably suggests smth about my morale; or my NP addiction; or both :)
Masa_inn, LOL! :D I'm sure you'll love Chinoise!
ReplyDeleteI would like to see a comparison between Lippmann's Diamonds and Pearls next to Creative's Glow. I can't decide which one to order.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, I'll do my best to get a good pic of that one! Truthfully, while they are nearly identical, I'd pick Diamonds And Pearls because it's much better quality!
ReplyDeleteHi Scrangie, It's me, Anonomous again. I am looking for a polish that would look great with a pair of Christian Louboutin Fontanete pink python peeptoe heels. I've come close by layering one coat of OPI 'A Rose at Dawn...Broke By Noon' over a coat of OPI 'Blushing Palace' however something is missing. I would like to pick up the golden gleam covering the python heels. Would you recommend another top coat of Lippmann's Diamonds and Pearls, Creative's Glow or do you have another suggestion altogether?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, I would definitely try a coat of Glow or Diamonds and Pearls on top (really, they're pretty much identical).
ReplyDeleteAnother good combo might be OPI That's Hot Pink or OPI La Paz-itively Hot with a coat of Diamonds and Pearls or OPI Megawatt??
Perhaps even Zoya Erika would be a good match, though more muted than hot pink.
Thank you so much! You have been very helpful! Beautiful blog by the way. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you and you're welcome! If you need anything else, feel free to drop me a line or leave a comment :)
ReplyDeleteMy Bitches Brew has never looked like that. Two years later, I think the formulation and/or color has changed. I actually bought it based on your photos and I was so disappointed when mine turned out to be a dud. I think I am going to carefully try a round with some polish thinner (it was incredibly goopy compared with the other non-glitter Lippmanns I have) and see what that does. It has never looked as rich and vibrant as yours did in these photos. I really became a polish freak after finding your blog. In about three months I went from maybe 25 colors to 175-200 and my Clarins 230 should be coming by the end of the week.
